Dr. Nanda is a board certified Physician in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology who joined HOAF in 2022. Before coming to our practice, Dr. Nanda worked for several years as an oncologist and distinguished member of the academic community. He graduated from medical school in Chennai, India at The TamilNadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University and went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center. He served as an assistant professor in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Alabama, where he completed his fellowship training. Between his residency and fellowship, Dr. Nanda worked as a chief resident in quality and patient safety at a VA medical center and served as a hospitalist in oncology in the greater Detroit area.
Dr. Nanda’s specialties include cancers of the reproductive system and urinary system and precision medicine, which involves a high-level customization of treatments and care. He brings a wealth of global knowledge on the treatment of cancer, along with an emphasis on personalized care.
When he is not taking care of patients, you can find Dr. Nanda biking, running, or hiking with his family.
