Thank you for choosing HOAF. We’re proud to be your choice in blood disorder and cancer care treatment in Fredericksburg, VA and Stafford, VA. Save time at your first appointment by downloading and filling out our required new patient forms online. All of our forms are HIPAA compliant and are designed to safely and securely submit your personal information. If you are unable to fill out the paperwork prior to your first visit, please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.

Pay my bill text

We offer an easy and convenient way for patients to pay their bill. With our online bill system, you can settle your bill with just two easy steps–enter your bill code found at the top of your statement and enter the amount owed. Next, all you have to do is enter your payment information, and you’re all set. HOAF enjoys utilizing the latest technologies to make our patients’ experiences with us seamless!

Patient portal text

HOAF encourages our patients to take on an active role in their healthcare. By using our online patient portal, you have access to your medical results, lab results, future appointments and previous visit summaries, and you can also message your provider. Here, you are able to experience the convenience and ease of accessing everything you need in your care with HOAF. If you have any questions regarding your hematology or oncology care, we encourage you to ask a HOAF team member, who will be happy to provide that information for you.

Insurance information text

At HOAF, we proudly accept most major health insurance plans. If you have questions or concerns about what your insurance covers, we are happy to help clarify this for you. Additionally, we offer foundation assistance, copay assistance and payment arrangements to help you secure financial aid to get the treatment you need. Several programs we work with offer grants in order to help you pay your out-of-pocket costs such as copays and deductibles. Our team is here to assist you in any way, so you don’t feel stressed about finances, but instead are focused on healing.

What to bring to treatment text

At HOAF, we aim to make your treatment with us as comfortable as possible. There are certain items you may want to bring with you to your infusion appointment to make it a little easier. We allow each of our patients to bring one guest with them, as we recognize having that extra support can make all the difference. While we provide light refreshments, we encourage you to bring a snack or even a meal if your session is going to be on the longer side–our facilities have a microwave for patient use if you need to heat up your food.

Research and clinical trials text

HOAF is proud to offer leading-edge treatments to our patients, including clinical trials. We understand that you may have reservations about participating in clinical trials, but recent research has shown they help save lives. By offering our patients the opportunity to participate in them, we are giving you the chance to experience the latest advancements and innovations in medicine. At HOAF, we will discuss all your treatment options in order to allow you to make the best decision for your health.

Foreign language resources text

HOAF strives to meet the needs of our diverse community, and in order to make that happen, we proudly offer many foreign language resources. If you primarily speak Spanish or another language, we have you covered. From walking through the Medicaid qualification process to cancer care assistance, along with support groups and financial assistance, we can provide supportive literature, videos and additional resources to help you along the way.

It is so rewarding to witness our patients healing after completing their treatment with us. However, we make it a priority to be there for our patients for life. Our providers will continue to monitor your condition closely through visits, tests and scans to ensure you stay healthy. We encourage our patients to take an active approach in maintaining optimal health and wellness. HOAF even offers seminars as well to assist you in achieving your wellness goals.
