Payment Plans

Our friendly team takes a collaborative approach to determine the best financial assistance for your treatment. Programs we offer include:

  • Foundation Assistance: We work with a variety of independent, non-profit organizations whose mission is to help people who are experiencing life-threatening, chronic or rare diseases get the medications and treatments they need. Most often, these programs help with your out-of-pocket costs, deductibles or what you may owe after insurance has been applied. Some companies may even help with travel and lodging accommodations if needed. These non-profits are typically able to help with grants that can be applied to your medications, surgeries or treatment plans. Here are the foundations we work with closely:

  • Payment Arrangements: At HOAF, we understand you may not be able to pay the full amount of your bill at one time. That’s why we offer payment plans with no interest, allowing you to pay for your treatment and services over time instead of all at once.

  • Copay Assistance: Copay assistance is through drug manufacturers, available for mostly Medicare patients experiencing serious illnesses such as a blood disorder or cancer. Our team focuses on connecting you with funding programs that help pay your out-of-pocket costs like copays or drug prices. The funding you qualify for can depend on several factors, including your insurance provider, diagnosis and your treatment type.

Acceptable Forms Of Insurance

At HOAF, we aim to make sure you leave your appointment feeling well-informed and confident in your medical decisions. Our patient accounts team will meet with you during your first treatment education appointment to go over your insurance information and payment options, so make sure you bring your insurance card with you. This is a great time for you to ask any insurance or financial questions you may have while your HOAF financial counselor is available.

HOAF accepts most major insurance plans, and we are happy to assist you with your coverage and file claims directly with your provider. If you change insurance companies or join a different plan while undergoing treatment, please make sure to give us your updated information. If you have any questions or concerns about financing your treatment or about your insurance information, do not hesitate to call our office at (540) 371-0079.
